Woojae Kim has made artisanal percussion instruments (handmade drums, modified cymbals, and gongs) that borrow from traditional Korean music. His work examines the parallels between cognitive dissonance - musical dissonance and emotional resonance - sonic resonance.

Woojae Kim and Rahul Nair have been practicing and experimenting during the NARS Foundation International Residency program. Open Rehearsal shares their process of listening to one another and searching for a way to create sounds together with the public.
